Cityline

The mixed use development at Cityline is more than a place to live. It’s exciting to explore, with swanky urban apartments built into a setting that includes shopping, dining, outdoor green space, and entertainment in a small, New York style neighborhood. Ride the DART rail over, and explore unique eateries. Shop upscale or traditional department stores within walking distance. Enjoy events such as Trivia Night at Ace’s.

Breckinridge Park

Of Richardson’s 40 parks, Breckinridge Park is the largest, spanning 417 acres. Much of the area remains undeveloped, making it a great natural exploration destination. Of the areas that have been developed, you’ll find a playground, picnic areas, a dozen soccer fields, baseball fields, two pavilions, restrooms, and a 10-acre lake with a gazebo. There are also two smaller lakes on the north end of the park. There are plenty of trails and multiple parking lots for access to the park.

Richardson Farmers Market

Find some of the freshest produce in the area at the Richardson Farmers Market. Meet the growers as well as other vendors with artistic talent, clothing, and other creative wares. Experience the taste of honey from local beekeepers, and try barbecue on occasion. The farmers market runs every Saturday from 10am to 2pm, and everyone is friendly, there to offer incredible items and eats that will have you coming back for more.

Heights Family Aquatic Center

With Covid-19 keeping all the public pools in Richardson closed last year, it’s exciting that the Heights Family Aquatic Center will re-open in May. Note that this is more than just a pool – the leisure pool is great for relaxation, while you can also enjoy the current channel and the vortex. The beach front entry point has splash features as well, and you can enjoy a lap pool with a basketball hoop, partake of slides, and let your little one wade in the tot pool.

Dallas Axe Throwing

Find your inner Viking at Dallas Axe Throwing. Take your family and friends back in time to the heathens, and learn the skill of axe throwing. You’ll have your own private lane for your party, and instructors will put you through a quick training lesson before turning you loose with your blades. There are also guided group games and winner-take-all tournaments to make your experience unique and memorable.
